Gene started his logistics career in June of 2006 and has held various roles within the International Logistics field from Operations, Global Tender Management, and most notably as a leader in the NVOCC Transportation segment since 2010. In Gene’s extensive background he has directly supported the management and development of various key transportation solutions from an NVOCC perspective, and as a consultant to many BCO client supply chains. Gene has also led the commercial oversight of all NVOCC Activity at his prior organization.
As the velocity of information has never been faster in the International Logistics space, Gene saw a clear need for improvements in his prior role where he led a global migration to a new QMS (Quote Management System) for all modes. This increased the velocity and competitiveness of the quote process globally. This system was then integrated to a wholly created Self-Service client platform which afforded the client base direct access for quotes, bookings, and the operational process. Gene and his in-depth experience will further elevate the International Product Line into a versatile and transformative product offering with MODE Global.
Gene completed his course of studies in May of 2001 at the University of Maryland in Marine Biology and resides in West Chester, PA and is happily married to his wife Shannon.
