Dallas, Texas (May 17, 2023) – Supporting its ESG focus, MODE Global recently partnered with United Way to support Agape’s Hope 4 Agape towel drive. Participants from MODE’s Dallas and Frisco offices donated new and gently used towels.
On May 11, MODE’s ESG committee members had the pleasure of delivering the towels to the Agape Resource and Assistance Center in Plano, Texas, which helps women and children facing situational homelessness. MODE donated more than 150 items to the drive. Towels are just one of the critical resources that Agape provides for the women and children they support.
“MODE’s ESG committee is grateful and proud of our team members,” said Sharon Johnson, chief legal officer and ESG committee head. “We are excited about hosting additional volunteer events through our continued partnership with United Way.”
The Agape team provided MODE with a tour of their facility including walking through their housing units and children’s area. Agape’s mission is to provide housing and transitional services to homeless single women, moms and their children that empower them to move from homelessness and crisis to fulfilling, self-sustaining lives.
About Agape:
Agape is currently in the beginning stages of building an affordable income-based housing facility in Wylie, Texas, called Jericho Village. The suburban complex will include 9 four-unit buildings and a community center. The idea of this complex is to give working people the opportunity to live in an area where their housing expense is correlated to their income. This will give the residents the opportunity to save for other expenses and have the freedom to do activities they enjoy. Agape is positively changing the lives of those in our communities.
